One name, two truths: the method our clients experience, and the engineering that makes it hold up. When your name and your method are the same word, you don’t get to cut corners on either.

The story

IDI Works, Inc. is an independent, founder-led California corporation based in the San Francisco Bay Area. After years of building technology at serious scale, we started IDI Works to bring that engineering standard to the businesses that make the Bay Area actually run: the dental practices, the trades, the restaurants, the local firms.

We noticed something along the way: the businesses that most needed modern technology were the ones agencies served worst — oversold, overcharged, buried in jargon, and abandoned after launch. We built IDI Works to be the opposite of that.

What we believe

Three principles sit behind everything we build:

• Creativity. Your problem isn’t a template, so the answer isn’t either. We imagine what’s genuinely possible for your business, then design something built for how you actually work — not a package pulled off a shelf.
• Technology for everyone. The tools big companies use shouldn’t need a big-company budget or an IT department. We make modern technology and AI usable by ordinary businesses and the people in them — in plain English, with you owning what we build.
• Affordability. We price like software, not like an agency: fair, predictable, and sized to your business. Because we build efficiently and keep our own costs near zero, that saving reaches you — real technology at a price a small business can actually say yes to.

And a few working rules that keep us honest:

• Plain English is a feature. If you leave a meeting with us confused, that’s our failure, not yours.
• Outcomes are the only metric. Booked appointments, saved hours, phones that ring. Everything else is decoration.
• Small is a strength. You work directly with the people doing the work. Nothing gets lost between departments, because there are no departments.
• Built to last beats built to impress. We choose durable, boring technology so what we build for you keeps working long after launch.
• Honesty over the invoice. If you don’t need what you’re asking for, we’ll say so — even when saying yes would pay better.
